Overview

  • How do I use the Go See This website?
    See our Useful Info page

  • Who looks after Go See This?
Go See This is run by All About Audiences - a charitable organisation which is the audience development agency for the North West of England. We work with the region's arts, culture and heritage organisations to engage with the public (the actual or potential audience). Find out more about us on the About Us page.

Buying tickets, shopping basket and more

  • Not all events have a "Check availability & book tickets" button - has the button fallen off the page?
No, the button hasn't fallen off the page! There is no 'book tickets' button because either the event is free (you'll find that most exhibitions are free), or because the ticketing system used for a particular event does not yet integrate with Go See This. But you can still add these events to your Planner.
  • When I logged back in, my shopping basket was empty.
This might be for various reasons. You might have cleared the cookies from your web browser or you're using a different web browser, computer or mobile device.
But the events in your Planner will still be there - and you can add those to your shopping basket any time you want.
  • I can't select the seat that I want.
    (answer to follow)

  • How do I delete my Go See This account?
We'll be sad to see you go but do this, just send an email with your request to info@goseethis.com with "delete acount" in the subject line.

About other features of the site

  • I searched for something but there are no results
The search bar is currently just for events.
It might be because the event is not yet on the website.

  • I've seen you have RSS - but what is it?
RSS stands for Really Simply Syndication and
is also often referred to as a news feed or data feed. It's a commonly used way to 'feed' you (well, actually, it's your 'RSS reader' that gets fed) with the most recent information which might be about news, list of events, blog entries, etc. It means you can get the very latest information without having to visit our website all the time (though we like it when you do come here!). And it saves your e-mailbox from getting overloaded too. And of course it's free. Why not have a look at the Go See This RSS news feed.

  • How do I use RSS news feeds?
A number of RSS news readers are available and you can also read RSS 'feeds' directly in a number of web browsers including Firefox,
Internet Explorer and Safari. You can also read them with on mobile devices like the iPhone. More information can be found at www.wikipedia.org/wiki/RSS  or www.howstuffworks.com/rss
