Venue Information
The Royal Exchange Theatre creates its own plays throughout the year which means you won’t see them anywhere else! The theatre produces everything in its own workshops, from costume dramas and Shakespeare productions to brand new plays and comedies. The grand Victorian Cotton Exchange building houses the main theatre-in-the-round – the seats are set all around a circular stage – as well as a restaurant, café and craft shop. There’s also a small Studio which showcases visiting companies, children’s shows and education projects.
