Cirkus Cirkör present INSIDE OUT featuring Iyra's Playground
During its 10 year history The Lowry has hosted some of the world's biggest circus acts, but while Swedish company Cirkus Cirkör may not be as well known on these shores as the Moscow or Chinese State Circus, their spectacular show may well show the way for the next decade of circus performers.
Somehow their internationally successful show, called Inside Out, combines live rock gig, circus spectacular, multimedia installation and family show, wrapped up in a narrative that examines the nature of human happiness. A dark but gentle fairy tale in which two people have their worlds turned literally upside down by a circus company of bizarre, magical oddballs.
It may sound complicated but it's the immediacy of the show that makes it such fun. Featuring eight multi-skilled circus artists, this family-friendly show is jam-packed with clowning, acrobatics, juggling, trapeze aerialists and much more. Bringing together circus, music and breathtaking visuals, Inside Out celebrates the art of circus; its technical skillfulness and magic.
The whole thing is scored live by rock band Iyra's Playground. With phenomenal heart-pounding and jaw-dropping feats, prepare to be wowed by Cirkus Cirkör and see what all the rave reviews are about.
