Shipshape Saturdays are packed with family fun – from craft to theatrical performances. Including: -

Make your own Hide and Seek Sailor Toy (5th and 19th March)
Sailor’s Secret Store – decorate your own treasure chest ‘ditty’ box (12th and 26th March)
Watery Weavers - While at sea, sailors would be expected to do their own sewing and were issued ‘ditty bags’ to keep their sewing kit in. Get hands on with a genuine Second World War ‘ditty bag’ and try your hand at some woven crafts and create your own unique paper-weaving panel in our fun craft activity. (2nd and 9th April)
Get a feel for historic naval items in our object handling sessions.

Follow the trail to explore even more remarkable objects from war at sea, on permanent display in the Main Exhibition Space, by picking up a family friendly gallery pack.
