Venue Information

Salford Museum & Art Gallery has two permanent galleries, Lark Hill Place and The Victorian Gallery. The museum also has The Lifetimes Gallery which changes annually and three temporary exhibition spaces.

Lark Hill Place is a wonderful recreation of a typical northern street during Victorian times. You can visit the many shops and houses including a toy shop, a chemist, a grocer, a blacksmith and a cottage.

During your visit don’t forget to call in at the Gift Shop located in the foyer. The shop sells products inspired by the museum collections, local history books and contemporary crafts items produced by local designer-makers
